Common Problems and Solutions on C Arms

Grainy X Ray Image

If contrast levels and brightness are appearing blurry then proceed with lowering the enhancement.

Charger Error Message

If the charging error message appears when booting up the C arm. Generally, the power supply board may be malfunctioning. Causing your batteries to be unable to charge. Or the batteries require a full replacement. They can be found on the back of the frame.

Low mA Error Message

 The actual mA is below the displayed value and out of tolerance. 
Likely Cause: Null adjustments may be off on the High Voltage Supply Regulator board. This requires a field service engineer with an extender board.
Other Checks:
- Generator batteries and charger board
- Filament calibration
- High Voltage Tank (worst case)
 For deeper diagnostics and resolution, contact a qualified field service engineer.

Communication Error

 Initial Checks:
• 	Inspect power supplies on both the workstation and C-arm.
• 	Remove and reseat boards; clean PCI connectors.
 Corrosion Alert:
• 	Clean connectors on boards and power supplies.
• 	Dirty contacts often cause voltage drops and signal loss.
 Final Step:
• 	Check the interconnect cable for damage (kicked, stepped on, or cut).
